Santos Cage Doll's 'Boat' Display Stand

This is a deep green traditional Spanish-Colonial-style 'boat'; originally the 'base' of a Santos Cage Doll! This heavy, oblong resin boat -of which we have just a one-off limited amount!- with at the top also some hints of red and grey. It measures approx. 8" tall, 14.75" wide, and 8.5" deep, and its front side is adorned with 3 skin-toned chubby cherub faces on the front, and various 'swirls' all around/underneath/at the back. In addition, there are green-colored bits attached along the top edge - remainders of what once were a Santos Cage Doll's wooden slats.

You can use this partially hollow boat as a display stand for a small Santos doll (We tried it with Santos weighing up to 6 lbs, but a little heavier may still be safe (do so at your own risk), (Santos) reliquaries, or, basically, anything precious that fits and is not too heavy. See our photos for some example displays.

As with most of our Santos, this boat was crafted in the Philippines by professional Santeros. The Philippines is one of the few countries these days where there still is a proud tradition of making Santos Dolls, and related items such as this boat.

The Santos Cage Doll and other items shown in the various photos are not included - but may, when in stock, be purchased from us separately.
