Early American Style Santos Cage Dolls in Mocha and Green

These sweet Santos Cage Dolls are fashioned in an Early American folk art style.

The pair of 'sisters' have similar styles. Both have pressed wood cages with resin bodies. The arms are in a fixed, molded position and do not move. Each doll has an arm positioned so an ex-voto, ornament, rosary or other item can be easily draped across.

The shorter Santos is a 27" lady that is painted in mocha, with  a medium complexion with brown hair and brown eyes. Her hair is molded brown (which helps to hold on to tiny crowns) in a pretty curly 'do. Her dark brown base is about 8 inches wide. We show her wearing a petite Santos crown (1 1/8th inches in diameter), which is not included but available in our shop.

The taller Santos is a 32" lady dressed in green, with a fair complexion and brown eyes and hair. She also has molded, wavy hair and an 8 inch wide base. Her green dress is molded for buttons and a scalloped collar. We show her wearing a 2.75" crown, which is not included, but in our store. This particular crown is a bit big for head, so we've molded it with our hands to make it drape nicely on her head. Any 2-2.5 inch crown should fit well.
