33" Santos Angel, Tin Skirt w/ Removable Wings

Our tall, beautiful Santos angel with removable wings is definitely a sight to behold! She's inspired by a combination of American folk art and a traditional Spanish Colonial style Santos. Her torso is wood, and her skirt is tin, which is smoothly 'plastered over' and painted where the skirt's is connected. Seeing a seam in the plaster is natural. The lady is painted in robins egg blue and washed in brown, which yields a greenish appearance from a distance.

She is jointed at the elbows and shoulders, however her arms are meant only for limited movement. She is attached to a black pedestal, and jointed at the elbows and shoulders.

This Santos Angel has a long, gracious neck, brown hair, rosy lips and cobalt eyes. Her face and neck have a matte finish, giving her a beautiful, natural look. She stands 33 1/2 inches with her stand. She is 6 1/2 inches wide at her shoulders and her stand is 10x8. Total wing span is 13" wide and 16" long.

This angel does not come with a crown, but we suggest a 2.75 inches wide jeweled french star crown, if you choose to select one at our store. You can see her wearing it in some of our photos.

12/31/12 update:
IMPORTANT! Much inferior quality versions from China of this Santos Angel are more common in the USA these days than the wonderful Santos Angel created by craftsmen in The Philippines!

The 'made in China' versions come in three sizes; compared to this 'genuine' Santos Angel from the Philippines one of the Chinese Angels is much smaller, another is close to this size, and the third is many inches taller. The main thing that distinguishes the cheap repros from the genuine 'Philippines original' Angel is that the Chinese versions have the tin skirt very crudely nailed onto the waist, whereas the Santos Angel seen in these photos has her skirt smoothly 'plastered over' and painted where the skirt's is connected.
Also, compare the 1st 'square' photo (Santos Angel from The Philippines) to the second 'square' photo (of the inferior quality 'Made in China' Santos Angel)!

Keep in mind that we do not sell the 'Made in China' versions of this Santos! In addition, we can not help you distinguish between the real thing and the cheap reproductions any further!
